A Christmas Treat

So Others Can Eat

St Mary's House of Welcome is excited to be partnering with one of Melbourne’s most iconic cafes, Brunetti Classico, to bring delicious gingerbread houses and DIY kits to our community this holiday season. Perfect as a gift for family, friends, colleagues or customers! Or maybe as a sweet treat just for you...

Our Premium DIY Gingerbread House of Welcome Kits are handmade in Melbourne with everything you need to design your own edible gingerbread house, including premade gingerbread walls, lollies, an icing kit, base and instructions. Our Deluxe Pre-Built Gingerbread House of Welcome is a delicious showstopper, ready for your seasonal holiday activities.

We are also pleased to be partnering with much loved Melbourne institution Chocolatier Australia, to bring decadent European-style chocolates to our community this festive season. Stock up for your friends, family, colleagues, or for an addition to your table setting, or a simple stocking stuffer.

By purchasing a gingerbread kit, gingerbread house, or chocolates, you will be supporting people experiencing chronic homelessness and disadvantage in Melbourne. Funds raised will go directly to the St Mary’s House of Welcome “Welcome Relief” meals program, and to provide emergency support for those in need throughout Christmas and the New Year.

Supporting People who are Homeless

St Mary’s House of Welcome is a not-for-profit open access centre in the heart of Melbourne providing basic essential services to people who are homeless and experiencing poverty, severe and persistent mental health issues, and those who are extremely isolated and socially marginalised.

Many of those who come to St Mary’s House of Welcome for help experience multiple issues such as sleeping rough, substance use, poverty, childhood trauma, mental illness, and institutionalization - all of which result in chronic social and health problems
